On the first use the ball bearing of the router bit get stock and did not roll at it use to be and start burning tho wood I was working on.

Good product, I have used it little yet, but the Cortez are precise and it does not break the wood. Good buy

If you're using the bit for soft to medium woods, it is a great deal for the price. I set up my Dovetail jig with scrap Doug fir; crisp, clean cuts. cut 4 drawers out of bamboo and it was dull by the 3rd. I switched to my whiteside 1/2" shank and finished. There are better bits but at 2x -3x the cost. I'll sharpen it and keep it handy when needed, on the right material.

For the price and performance I can't complain. I mostly only purchase Freud bits but since i was only cutting biscuit slots I didn't wanna spend the $$$. I was pleasantly surprised the cutting performance of this BIT. Would purchase it again. Nice clean cutting bit.
