Flutes: 3 This 5/32" router bit down cut endmill shears in a downward direction, causing the uppermost layer of the material to be pressed down against the material just below it. This motion leaves a perfectly clean top surface edge. A concentration of wood chips in the work path will occur. Hose away excess wood chips to prevent bit breakage. Pros: Prevents top surface edge chipping and tear-away. Cons: Less than optimal chip removal when dadoing or plunging. (Choose an up cut spiral bit for standard more efficient milling.) For use in CNC milling and carving machines.

It cuts very cleanly and is still doing so after a good workout! For the price I’ll definitely be ordering a spare!

I have a few other bits for my CNC and this one did not disappoint. Very sharp and left a smooth cut on the oak board that I did some engraving on. No chatter when pushing it a bit faster as well. Will order more if this one ever wears out.
