Dovetail Jig Groove 1/2" Shank Router Bit

Clamps and hold downs could not be easier that with the Dovetail clamp system. These bits create the grooves in your table top surface enabling you to slide dovetail clamps into the grooves. This method allows for great versatility where you can cut the grooves in any direction and position your clamp virtually anywhere on the table work area. This can be very benficial for odd shaped clamping projects like guitar, violin and many more unique shaped glue up jobs. The bits are available in straight and dovetail designs where the straight bit is used to precut the grooves and reduce the workload for the subsequent dovetail bit. Available in both 1/4" and 1/2" shanks.
