Sometimes referred to as a half-round, the bullnose router can be used to add a decorative edge to your workpiece or as part of a canoe joint. You can also create dowels, with the help of a little bit of jig setup creativity.

This bit cuts a 1/8" bullnose or half-round (1/16" radius) with an 3/16" fillet above and below the profile. This bit includes a guide bearing for easy fence depth setup and a 1/2" shank.

Worked great for putting a bullnose on 1/4" HDPE plastic

Choose this after reading/watching USA review. Bits are finished well and the box is useful. Initial use on soft and hardwood produced encouraging performance, time will tell. One significant point on design/construction. Though a couple of spare shims are provided, these are woefully inadequate e.g. I found that the bits were set too shallow for 3/4" stock and the shims provided were not sufficient to take out the error and leave a clean cut on the rebated tongue. Since these bits are marketed as "Professional" twice the number of shims should have been provided. Overall, good value.
