Biscuit joints provide a fast and easy way to join cabinet parts and furniture components. Simple butt joints often do not provide the necessary strength for common scenarios. Biscuit joints provide added glue surface and extra structural strength where the biscuits are inserted and glued. Even if you don't own a biscuit joiner, you can produce accurate joints with our biscuit joint slot cutting router bits. Select the desired bit based on the biscuit size you wish to use (#0, #10 or #20).

With the you can cut slots for all 3 of the common bisuit sizes including #0, #10 and #20. This set comes with 1 bit and 3 bearings one of which is already preinstalled. Swap the bearing to change the cutting depth for the desired biscuit size. Cutting depths are 1/2" (16/32"), 13/32" & 11/32" for the #20, #10 and #0 respectively. The shank is 1/2" in diameter.

I used this on my smaller, lightweight 1/4" router (Dewalt) to slot grooves into the inside edges and end edges of composite boards (Trex). I used it on a few of the end edges of already factory slotted boards, where the boards changed direction and I needed to butt them together at adjacent angles, and I used it on the inside edges of solid boards for use on steps, the perimeter, etc., so there would be no slots shown on the outside edges. It worked great and ran through the composite board very quickly and cleanly.
