These bits will trim and bevel veneer finishes eliminating the need for filing. This bit can be used on plastic laminate counter tops as well as wood finishes. The angle of the cutter creates a smooth bevel in laminate and veneer that eliminates the typical sharp edges produced by standard laminate trimming bits. These bits are typically used in trim routers and are quick and convenient.

Trim and bevel veneers and laminates with a single bit. This bit has a total cutting height of 9/16" allowing ample room for adjustment. The 1/4" straight segment trims while the 22 degree angle bevels the top edge for a softer finished edge. The overall length is 2-1/4" with a 1/4" shank.

Can't beat the price

You do the math... this should produce a very tight fit. It does. Pliers were required to force the 1/4" shelf pins into the 15/64" holes. But, that was the recommendation of the shelf pin jig maker (Rockler). I don't think I will be making frequent changes to the shelf positions. (I have used the bit only one time to make 16 shelf pin holes so I won't comment on either "longevity" or "value for money".)
