Add a decorative edge to any window stool giving your window a custome trimmed look. A window stool is the wooden ledge that sits on the window sill which protrudes somewhat making a small shelf or mantle.

This window stool router bit will cut stock up to 1" thick and 3/8" deep. The fillet is 1/8". The bit's overall length is 3" and the shank is 1/2".

Worked great for my project. Helps to use a table saw first to get the bulk of wood off before running through the router. The adjustable shims we're helpful to get the proper fit.

I used it for a small bookshelf project in birch. The bit cut clean with no tearing and produced a nice bullnose using a handheld router. Only took a few small cuts to dial it in to the right depth. The project was too small to know how long the bit will last, but so far so good.
