Solid carbide flush trim bits significantly outperform standard flush trim router bits and excel where standard flush trim bits are lacking producing extremely smooth finished surfaces on some of the most demanding materials and applications. The solid carbide construction allows complex blade geometry and the welded steel tip accommodates a threaded lock nut for ease of use and reliability. These bits perform well on all types of woods including, plywood, MDF, solid woods, plastic laminates and non-ferrous metals.
This solid carbide downcut trim router bit has a cutting length of 5/8" and a diameter of 1/4". The overall length is 2-1/2" with a 1/4" shank. This solid carbide flush trim router bit is designed to provide precise, efficient cuts and offers extreme durability. The spiral design largely reduces chipping. For use with soft & hard woods, ply-woods, composites, laminates, plastics and some non-ferrous metals. The two independent ball bearings at the tip ensure smooth running. 1/4" shank.

After seeing some reviews saying the bits were dull, I was a bit concerned. I needn't have been. I needed to cut a groove in a piece of walnut, and was prepared to do it in thin passes, but it cut it like butter. I'm very pleased.
