Top bearing slot cutting router bits are specifically designed for on-site deck board slotting to be used in conjunction with hidden deck board fasteners. The bearing's position allows for easy slotting on deck boards that are already positioned on the deck beams. There is no protrusion at the end of the bit that will interfere with any underlying wood.

This top bearing slot cutter router bit routes a 1/16" H x 3/8" D slot. The overall diameter is 1-1/2" and 1/2" shank.

Used this bit to cut ¼ x ¼ slots for a custom cabinet. Worked perfectly for the purpose. No complaints.

The router bits worked great and I made doors with an insert skin. Good quality

cuts perfect on router table

This bit cut such a beautifully clean dovetail it's a shame to have to hide it! I used this to route a very long sliding dovetail in the back plate of a shelf that I made. I then used it to create a strip that I mounted to the wall and slid the shelf onto. This created a very clean and secure shelf mount with no visible fasteners, no glue, and can be removed whenever I need.
